Who publishes Beslig Rig
Beslig Rig is a maintenance planner for recreational vehicles, published by Olivia Hayes ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information while you use the app. For questions, email olivia.hayes49@gmail.com.
The app is built to work without an account, a sign-in or a connection to our own servers. Almost everything below comes back to that one design choice.
What you enter into the app
Beslig Rig stores only what you type into it. That can include:
- RV names & preferences
- Maintenance items & intervals
- Mileage readings
- Estimated cost & labor
- Service log & dates
- Notes
- Checklists & templates
- Planned trip miles & dates
- System / component list
- "Do it myself" items
You decide what to write. Please don't put sensitive personal details, such as ID numbers or payment card data, in free-text notes. The app doesn't need them.
Where your data is kept
Your information lives in a structured database inside the app's private storage on your phone. We have no copy and no way to see it, change it or recover it.
- Deleting an RV, item or checklist removes it from that database. Marking an item "not applicable" keeps it and its history, as the app describes.
- Uninstalling the app normally removes all of its data from the device.
- Device backups (for example iCloud or Google device backup) may include app data, depending on your phone settings. Those backups are run by Apple or Google under their own terms, not by us.
Because nothing is stored with us, we can't restore lost data. Use "Export" regularly if your records matter to you.
What we do not collect
Beslig Rig contains no analytics SDKs, advertising networks or tracking pixels, and it builds no profile of you. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Name or email
- Location / GPS
- Contacts
- Photos
- Advertising IDs
- Usage analytics
- Payment data
- Crash logs sent to us
We don't sell, rent or share personal information, because we never receive any.
Reminders and permissions
If you turn on a reminder for a maintenance item, the app asks for permission to show notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally by your phone's operating system. They are not sent from a server, and no one else can see their content.
You can deny or withdraw notification permission at any time in your device settings. The rest of the app keeps working, and the "Needs attention" panel still shows items that are due.
Exports and sharing
The "Export" screen creates a file containing your data. The export happens on your device, and the file goes wherever you send it, such as Files, email, cloud storage or a messaging app, through your phone's standard share sheet.
Once you share an export, the receiving service's privacy policy applies to that copy. Exported files aren't encrypted by the app, so store them somewhere you trust.
App stores and other third parties
You download Beslig Rig from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those platforms may collect information such as purchase records, device type or crash diagnostics under their own privacy policies. They may share aggregated, anonymous statistics with developers if you have opted in on your device. We don't control that processing and can't link it to your records in the app.
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and delete the correspondence when it's no longer needed.
Children, your rights and changes
Children. The app is meant for vehicle owners and isn't directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We don't knowingly collect children's data. In fact, we don't collect anyone's.
Your rights. Under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, LGPD and CCPA, you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data. For data in the app, you exercise these rights directly: view, edit, export or delete it on your device. For support emails, write to us and we'll act on your request.
Changes. If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
